Master Bath tile...

The tile in the master bath is finished!  Grouted and cleaned.  Looks GREAT!!!  There's enough room in there to wash my hair without hitting my elbows on the wall or shower curtain.  The water will hit the top of my head instead of the back of my neck.
I guess that Eric, the plumber, could put in the shower head and trim... and all the things that go on the Jacuzzi.  Yes! That will work!!!  Oh! ... wait... John has to get back in there to paint.  I'm trying to get ahead of myself.  It's just so hard to wait...
The grout looks very light colored, but it isn't.  The color is Bone and was the darkest of the neutrals that Lowe's had on their chart.   I'm very pleased with it.  Darker grout would have worked, but I had an hour and a half to make all the choices for the tile... what size tile went where... what color grout...  sanded vs. unsanded...  Then, when I had all those choices made, the salesman looked on his computer to make sure they had enough...  Nope.  Someone had bought some of the same tile I wanted.  That is why there are three colors, instead of just one or two.  But... it has worked out beautifully!  and I love it!

Orange walls... :-)

Not to worry!  It's only the waterproofing membrane.  http://www.schluter.com/index.aspx  It's been used on This Old House and several of the shows that Amy Matthews does for HGTV and DIY.  I was impressed with how it goes on the wall... almost like wall paper.  Of course, as a complete amateur at wallpapering, I have no idea how easy or how hard it is to put up wallpaper.  But, Amy Matthews makes it look easy!!!

More bathroom...

Looking through the bathroom door.  The end of the Jacuzzi and edge of the shower.  There's a big window on the other side of the tub.  The shower is open on two sides.  There was only so much room in there.

Tub, shower & water closet...

Here's the Jacuzzi.  That sure would have been nice the last couple of days!!!
I have 6" tile for the walls...  Oops!  I already posted that in the post... Porcelain tile...
Oh...  We have a new tile guy!  Terry will be here in the morning to get started!!!!  He was recommended by the guy where I bought the Schluter waterproofing system.  He's worked with it and knows how to install it properly.  And, he's a really nice guy.  After measuring everything to figure what he'll be doing, he stopped by the office to let me know.  :-)  Yes!  First impressions go a long way towards things working out... or not.  I can hardly wait til tomorrow night to see what he's done!!!!

The water closet...  Well... that sounds better than toilet.
It will be a while before that goes in.  We're quite a way from calling the plumber back to finish all that.  Gosh!  There are lots of things that go into building a house... or remodeling one!!!  While John is the carpenter, I guess I'm the coordinator???  or is that general contractor?  And I'm the one who has a hard time picking out colors!!!!
The shower...  For so long, this has been just a bunch of studs with some insulation between them.  Now, it actually looks like a shower!!!  Tomorrow night, there may even be a floor in there!!!!
