Another step closer!!!

I thought it would be next week before Brian could get here to finish the cabinets, but here he is!!! The doors are making it look so much more like a house!!! I don't have the textured glass in the doors, yet. Maybe next week. And I still have lots of construction stuff in the cabinets & on countertops. As soon as I get all the touch up painting done, I'll start cleaning everything out. Will take photos before we start moving in. :-) I can hardly wait!!!

We have water!!!!

It's not completely working, but the most important part of our water system is!!!!
Had a leak outside, but David fixed it. :-) He is so handy to have around the house.
I'm not cleaning anything until Shane has finished building the Murphy Bed closet. And the HWH closet. Oh! There's the washer & dryer to install and hook up... The range... The dishwasher... The vent over the range... Anything else? Not that I can think of at this moment.
Oh! Brian is coming next week to finish the cabinets! UPS delivered my Lazy Susans. They fit. They look GREAT!!! Now, what do I do with the other sets that didn't fit??? Anyone need Lazy Susan's??? Just let me know. PLEASE!!!! :-)

Drum roll, please....

After much mumbling and sweating, the sink is in! But, when buying all the drain pieces, we forgot that this sink has two drains. :-) It's those little details that can drive you crazy.
But I do love the sink. It's a Kohler Langlade Smart Divide. The middle divide is a couple inches below the rim, while the whole sink is 9" deep. I really wanted a single bowl sink, but at the time, the only one available was a black soapstone that I didn't like. The faucet is Moen Aberdeen Brushed Stainless.
Now, I need to call Terry to get a date for him to do the backsplash.

Kitchen sink...

It's been a long time getting to this point. But, today is the day!!!
LOL!!! It's the small things that can make a person smile. :-)
